Meditation in Motion, Hatha Yoga
Explore ways to cultivate mindfulness and inner peace while relieving tension, strengthening your body, and increasing flexibility. Although we practice Hatha yoga postures, the emphasis of this class is remaining fully present and practicing mindfulness in each movement. It is meant to be experienced as a moving meditation. We do this by focusing on the breath and alignment in a series of foundational poses. Each class will begin with setting an intention for your practice, time for centering/breathing, and a gentle warm-up followed by a sequence of yoga postures, focused relaxation, and a brief seated meditation.
This class is open to all levels, and ranges from a gentle to moderate to practice.
Aqua Life Fitness requires all class participants to download and sign our Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability prior to your first class. You will only have to complete this form once, as it will be stored on file, unless you plan to bring additional family members to a class. If at any time you wish to include other family members, simply download the Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability again, complete the required fields and sign. Forms will be collected from new class attendees prior to the start of class.
